Round die with chamfered faces on both sides; one face provides a 2 to 3 thread chamfer for starting threads, the opposite face offers a 1 to 1-1/2 thread chamfer for threading close to a shoulder.

Fine pitch adjustment screw enables precise control of die gap, allowing either gentle opening or firm closing to target thread size.

Beveled slot design facilitates use in a machine holder, permitting adjustment via the holder’s screws after removing the on-die adjusting screw.
